Making A Contract With Us
When submitting an order to Moon Dream, you are entering into a contract with us to supply you with handmade jewellery items as described in the product details.
By placing an order with us, you have agreed to and read these terms, privacy and refund policies.
Our contract with you will become binding upon our acceptance of your order by email.
In the rare circumstance of the product you ordered not being available, or if there has been a pricing error, we will contact you as soon as possible to discuss the appropriate action (e.g. full refund, a substitute product incurring a part refund or extra payment as required).
Our terms and conditions have been written to comply with current UK legislation and advice provided by www.gov.uk.
Contracts with Moon Dream are subject to UK Law.
Placing An Order
To order from our website, simply add the items you desire to the cart, items you no longer require can be removed from your cart at any time.
You are required to pay for goods in full at the time of ordering ('checkout').
Promotional prices only apply during the period stated.
Moon Dream processes all orders in GBP.
Please contact us if your order is urgent, as we may be able to make it more quickly for you.

My Jewellery is hand made, often to order, and will normally be dispatched within 2-5 working days. This also applies to Special Delivery.
Dispatch times provided are an estimate, which can change without notice. However, we will endeavour to contact you if there is an expected delay to your order being sent out.
I will email you to confirm dispatch of your order. You can then expect your item to arrive within 1-4 working days after receiving your confirmation for UK addresses or longer for International orders. We take every care to ensure your order reaches you safely, and in a timely manner.
For custom orders, you will be given an estimated dispatch time when the design details are finalized. Some semi-precious stone beads may be sourced from other countries, and this may affect the completion date.
In some instances, your order may arrive in more than one delivery, this will be at no extra charge.
Items are delivered to the shipping address you specify when ordering. Please ensure your address details are correct as we cannot be held responsible for non-delivery of orders when incorrect address details have been provided by the customer.
I will not accept responsibility for loss or damage if you instruct the delivery company to leave your goods unattended.
Please check your items on delivery and any goods found to be missing or damaged should be notified to us immediately in writing so we can resolve the issue to your satisfaction quickly.
A paper confirmation of your order will be included in your delivery. This notifies you of the prices you have paid, our returns policy and includes a return address sticker. Please specify in the 'special message' box when ordering if you would prefer this to be a gift receipt without prices, you can also add a gift message that will be included on the invoice.
Delivery charges, if applicable, will be shown once the delivery address is entered during checkout. If more than one service is available to your destination, you will then be able to select your preference.
I use Royal Mail delivery services, but reserve the right to use another service without prior warning, if we deem it more suitable in rare circumstances. You will be notified if this results in higher delivery charges.

Returns & Refunds
Our aim is complete customer satisfaction, however, should you be unhappy with any aspect of our service or products, or change your mind, please read our terms below:
If you change your mind
In accordance with Distance Selling Regulations you must contact us in writing (by email or letter) within 7 working days of your receipt of the goods to request a refund if you change your mind.
A refund will be carried out by us within 30 days of agreeing the return in writing.
Please see exceptions below.
If your product is faulty
You must contact us within reasonable time scale.
In most cases a full refund, exchange or repair will be offered (depending on the time scale), this will be dealt with on a case by case basis.
If a refund is agreed
You must return the goods to us, failure to do so is a breach of your statutory duty, and you may be charged recovery costs.
It is your statutory duty to take reasonable care of the goods, until they are returned to us.
Any goods must be returned within a reasonable time scale and must be securely wrapped, preferable in the original packaging.
A refund will be carried out by us within 30 days of agreeing the return in writing.
We also recommend returning by Royal Mail special delivery as any damages or losses incurred during return may mean we are unable to refund you.
Refund will include the original postage cost, if applicable, but the customer will pay the cost of returning the item to us, unless it is faulty.
The refund process means money can only be refunded to the source originally used to pay. For credit card sales, this will be the exact card which was used. For Paypal customers, this will be refunded into the customer's Paypal account (rather then the credit card used to pay through Paypal).
We regret that for hygiene reasons earrings cannot be returned/refunded, unless faulty.
We regret that custom or bespoke goods (where jewellery is made to order to design agreed between Moon Dream and the customer) cannot be returned or refunded, unless faulty.
For any items judged to be damaged due to improper use or when reasonable care has not been taken by the customer, Moon Dream may claim against the customer for damages and breach of statutory duty. This does not affect the customer's right to a full refund.
Privacy & Data Protection
Your privacy and security are very important to us and Moon Dream will not share your email, delivery address or any other details with any other party. Please read below for more information.
You do not need to have an account to buy from Moon Dream.
If you would like to set up an account to save time when ordering in the future, you can either do this either by clicking 'register' in the top menu or after placing your first order.
You are responsible for keeping your account details, such as billing and shipping addresses up to date. If you use Paypal to complete your order payment, it is your responsibility to ensure your Paypal address details are up to date, as these will be used for your order.
We do not share any of your customer account details with any other parties.
Our mailing list is available on an opt-in basis only. If you have chosen to join our mailing list, the email address you provide will not be passed on to any other companies and will only be used by us as stated, that is, infrequent emails about new products, news etc. You can easily opt out by unsubscribing at any time.
Moon Dream, like all websites, uses 'cookies' (small text files) to store information on your computer, both to help our site function properly and to give you the very best experience.
Some cookies are essential, and the site won't work as expected without them. These cookies are set when you submit a form, add an item to the cart, login or interact with the site by doing something that goes beyond clicking on simple links.

These do not collect any personal data about you, we do not store them and do not have direct access to the individual data collected.

VAT & Import Duty
No VAT is added as Moon Dream is currently not a VAT registered company.
Import duties or taxes may be incurred by your if ordering for delivery to a country outside of the UK. Moon Dream is not responsible for any import duties or tax which may be applicable in your country.
All images and products are available for social sharing (e.g Twitter, Facebook, Digg, Pinterest etc) where full URLs and credit are provided to Moon Dream or this site. Social sharing is positively encouraged!
Please contact us in writing to gain prior consent if you would like to use any images or content for any other purpose. Anyone found to be in breach of copyright will be legally pursued.

All my Jewellery is created using hypoallergenic Jewellery findings.
If request I can create Jewellery for you using Sterling silver.
Other parts of the jewellery will be semi-precious, freshwater pearl, Swarovski crystal, glass or other types of beads.
Descriptions & Photos
Iask that you pay close attention to the measurements provided in each product's description for a true idea of the actual size of your jewellery when it arrives. Close up pictures are provided to allow you to clearly see our jewellery and this can make items look bigger than they really are.
Photographs may be of the actual item you will receive, or what we deem to be a close reproduction of that product if more than one has been made. Due to the irregularities in gemstones themselves, and the handmade nature of Emma`s work, we reserve the right to sell items with minor differences (such as individual bead substitutions) to the products photographed.
Whilst we consider that our photographs accurately show the colours of the jewellery displayed on our website, they cannot be guaranteed 100% accurate, as this will vary depending on your individual computer's display settings.
Whilst we try to be as accurate as possible, all information provided is approximate and is given in good faith.
Only valid for use on www.moon-dream.co.uk. Only valid for use by the person named on the certificate. Certificates cannot be exchanged for cash. Expires after 12 months (expiry date will be on the certificate). No change can be given. May be used in full or part purchase. Multiple certificates may be used in a single purchase. Can be used for one transaction only. Does not apply to shipping costs. Please enter both yours and your recipient's details carefully during checkout. You will need the recipient's email address.
All my Jewellery is beautifully packaged, ready to give as a gift. Carefully wrapped in tissue paper, in my signature Moon & Stars organza bags, and it will come complete with a business card. A gift box made from recycled card is available on request.
